We’ve had the boilers off for just over a month now for decorating and looks like it will take another month before we’ll be finished. The plumber didn’t say anything about putting them back on by x weeks but he takes on loads of jobs and is always rushing between jobs so I think he forgot to say anything about it. I had a sudden panic about it and googled it and most things I’ve found said you shouldn’t have it off for more than a few weeks. I’m so angry at myself for not checking earlier and for trusting this plumber!! I’ve messaged him and he said ‘well there’s nothing you can do about it now.’ And ‘It should be ok’. One of the rads he took off broke in the process (grrrr) so we can’t even just put them all back on and turn it on again.
trades people are booked up for ages so I just don’t know what to do. And I’m so worried and angry.
