Offer Strategy

Looking for advice. We have sold and our buyers sold to FTB so chain complete and everything underway.

We’ve finally found something we love but massive interest. On for £595.

Already two offers in when we viewed. We’ve put in offer of £612. If it goes to best and final we’ve decided will ofGet £660.

we’re not sure if we should offer more now incase the vendor just takes the best offer he gets? Are the estate agents likely to contact us before to tell us to up our offer? We haven’t sold our property with that agent if that makes a difference.

We offered the max we were prepared to pay for the house.
It was accepted within half a day, after a weekend of interest.
Did we overpay? Possibly (although survey said otherwise). Would we have been gutted if we offered less and not got it? Yes.

I always offer once only, and I make it clear it's my best and final, after many years buying/selling I can't be done with the stress!

So personally I'd offer my top bid.

Thanks everyone, we upped our bid but it’s going to best and final - que sense of dread!!

How'd it go?

As I was walking to deliver our best and final got phone call to say our buyers have pulled out.

In tears all the way home, I know just need to take it on the chin and get ours back on the market. Prior to this our seller took theirs off the market so 9 months since started process and back to square 1!
