Delays with bottom of the chain

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with having delays with the bottom of the chain?

To keep it short the majority of the chain are ready to discuss dates so several dates have been put forward, none successful because the bottom of the chain have been ignoring dates and not keeping the solicitors up to date (i believe), as we are in the middle of the chain our solicitors or estate agents cannot do anything, Does anyone have any advice?

There is very little point in discussing dates until everyone is ready to exchange.

Your estate agents need to find out what the hold up is, because until you know what is causing the delay it is impossible to judge how long it is likely to take to resolve. Your agent should speak to the agent representing the property which is being sold to the bottom of the chain.

Same happening to us.
our estate agent has been amazing in contacting people and finding out the hold up!
we also tried to arrange dates but then found out the bottom of the chain were not where they lead us to believe in the process !
so frustrating x
