Kitchen/diner help

Hello all

Can anyone help with my kitchen plans. Fairly new house to us, kitchen needs replacing but it's not that big, really would like to amalgamate the kitchen diner however due to front door seems impossible to me.

Need to keep downstairs loo and lounge as is. Did consider using lounge as kitchen but won't work for other reasons.

Would you consider putting a utility in the dining room? Or is there any other way?

I can't say 100% if it would work because the plan doesn't have any dimensions but if I was you I think I'd move the kitchen into what's the current living room making a kitchen/diner/family space and make the front rooms a snug/tv room and a study.

Sorry my old eyes! It does have the dimensions so yes I think it would be possible.

We need dimensions but obvious choice would be to swap kitchen/dining to back of the house ?

Could you create a small sort of porch area for front door, with door leading into current dining room. Knock down dining and kitchen walls and block off at hallway?

can you build an external porch and then turn the whole kitchen-dining room into a single room?

I know you've said you can't do it but the only sensible solution is to move the kitchen/diner to the back of the house and have kitchen- living- dining room. Then you've got a snug at the front and you can split the current kitchen into a utility and a small study. Sorry

Thanks for your suggestions. We can't move it into the lounge sadly. I like the idea of an external porch and even the internal 'porch'. Sorry dimension are v small!!

Radical but... what about turning dining door and area to its left into the front door and foyer. Remove walls between dining-hall-kitchen creatimg a large open plan KD in front and parallel large lounge across back. Shouldn't need to move kitchen services. Obviously you'll need beams and lintels and some landscaping for outside changes.

Sorry dining window becomes door, original door becomes window.
