So I suspect I may use the terminology all wrong….
Im doing a short term makeover to a small flat that I will live in some of the time and Airbnb some of the time.
there is a small kitchen. The stove and oven are next to a window. At the moment there is a disgusting range hood that needs to be ripped out but I don’t want to put in a new one because of space and money.
the current range hood is connected to a large hose thingy (name??) that goes outside - ie there is a round hole in the wall.
can I just basically stick a big standard bathroom exhaust fan over that?? (I won’t actually do it myself will get someone with a clue to do it!)
