"We buy any house" type buyers

Has anyone used these to sell a house you want a quick sale for? Or if not, have you had quotes from them and decided to go down the old fashioned route?

We sold our house to this type of company 15 years ago. Low offer, obviously and no negotiation.

Everything went through quick and smooth but I have heard of less reputable companies knocking 20% or more off their original offer the day of exchange.

We nearly did. They tried to knock 10k off on exchange day. Turned them down as we where not really in a hurry to sell

I sold my bachelorette flat through one a while back, as I didn't have the headspace for a traditional sale.

They bought it for about 8% under my estimated market value, with my tenants in situ.

Very easy and hassle free.
