Plastering NW cost

I’ve been quoted £1050 to overboard and skim ceiling and walls for 3x3 room. Does this sound reasonable?

We are in Yorkshire and we paid £800 to replaster a whole large 5mx5m x3m room in early 2020. £1050 sounds pricey but not totally ridiculous given how much material costs and price of living has gone up. I would get another quote to check.

I've just had a 2nd bedroom skimmed and ceiling plastered over artex, it was £353. Not a big room. So going off that price it sounds about right. I'm in NW too.

Thanks both. I’ve had two quotes. Struggling to get more quotes in. It looks like overboarding the ceiling is what is driving up the price.

Oh wow. I had a ceiling redone in 2020 for £150 plus materials. I think the room would have been about 5x3. We will need the whole house doing here
