Our house faces north east and the front dining room in particular is very dark. It’s cosy in winter with a log burner and lamps. In summer after 2pm it’s gloomy. The front bedrooms in winter gloomy too.

it’s ok in summer.

we have a very light rear extension.

are we best selling in summer? Or would you embrace the cosy in winter?

basically front rooms are all gloomy after 2pm till the sound comes round other side of house at 7pm.

My estate agent told me just after Xmas is a good time!

Spring is the most buoyant time for house sales, usually. If your house is dark, max out on the lighting, and use the right bulbs.

If your house faces NE you have a lovely SW facing garden! This is a huge bonus generally, so don't worry.
