Hi

I’ve had some great advice here and am coming back for more please!

I accepted an offer on my property from a cash buyer who turned out not to be cash and swopped solicitors half way through over 3 months ago.

My solicitor asked for confirmation or any communication really from my buyer’s solicitors but none was forthcoming. So I’ve decided with the help of lovely mumsnetters(!) to go back onto the market. I asked my agent yesterday to relist with the new date given it was originally on over 3 months ago however despite chasing it’s been put on with the old date on. (Being raised with rightmove I understand)

I’m concerned this makes it look an old listing and people will wonder what’s wrong with it! I’m now thinking in hindsight 3 months was too long to wait and there’s been a lack of sales progressing somewhere. Looking into switching agents and would really like some advice as to whether anyone has been in this position and found it useful please

My house is a first foot on the ladder and achieved pretty much asking price quite quickly and I understand properties are moving quickly locally. Thank you!
