you agree to buy a property, all papers signed by everyone then the vendor refuses to sell unless you pay an extra x%.

It’s just happened to us for the second time. The first time pretty much broke us (certainly finished us off financially) and now again. We don’t have the signed contract in our possession it’s still with them.

I know about gazumping and gazundering, I just can’t remember the name for this ?? Gazupping!

Pull out and let the property mafia put it back on the market and go through the whole process again. Let them take the hit of losing the ££ sale and they'll soon get a reputation for being con artists.
