Mortgage acceptance after query?

Hi all, looking at buying a house and selling mine. Im only able to get a certain amount and it is slightly lower than what I was hoping which means I'm going to have to put more equity into new house deposit wise. Got a DIP via a mortgage broker.

Mortgage is going to be with Natwest, husband is not going to be on it due to credit issues. He does send me bill money however and this has been flagged up as a query. Has anyone had a query and the mortgage has gone through OK. I'm worried they are going to reject the application and say I can't afford it on my own.

We are currently waiting for our mortgage to be approved (hsbc) and our broker has had a fair few queries from them and he said not to be worried it’s normal, I guess the lender need to ask questions so they can understand your entire financial situation before they can sign off on the mortgage…still natural to be worried though, I’ve been a stressed mess the last few weeks lol. Hope it gets approved soon for you.

We're going through 2 mortgage applications at the moment - buy to let for our current home and buying new house with residential mortgage.
We've had enquiries on both. The residential mortgage has been approved, still waiting on decision on the other one but broker said only thing outstanding is for lender to do credit check.
