Extension/ builder quote

Those of you that have had extensions how detailed were the quotes from builders ? We have sent them the building regs drawings etc and PP had been granted.
For example does it say decorating-£5k
Bathrooms £8k

I've had two separate quotes from builders. Both were reasonably detailed but one was a much better quote than the other.

The good quote made it very clear how much each item would cost in clear terms that were easy to understand.

The rubbish quote used a lot of jargon that didn't make complete sense, so even though it was properly broken down we still didn't understand every entry.

I'll attach a couple of pages from the good quote so you can see what I mean. This quote ran to six pages long so that gives you an idea of the depth of detail!

The good quote I got I’d similar to the screenshot posted. It also specify some uncertainty bounds. Like the depth of foundation of the existing garage he assumed.
