How much should we expect to budget for a WC renovation?

We'd need to budget for a new toilet, sink, small cabinet (to cover up pipes-- currently covered by a rickety-looking wooden box) and basic, white subway tiling for the walls. Am I crazy to think it could be done for a few thousand...?

Are you replacing what’s there already? If so that will easily be covered by 2k.

We paid around £1500 to get our downstairs loo done. Included new ceiling, plaster walls and ceiling, new floor, toilet, sink and boxing in cables/pipes and two coats of paint.

Are you doing it yourself or getting a firm in. Also it depends on the fixtures and fittings you want.
