Would you rent a house with only a bath? Would you expect the rent to be less than market rent because of this?

We went to view a house that had the opposite - it was advertised as the bathroom but only had a shower which was totally unsuitable as I was pregnant at the time and had a toddler and I love baths myself

It was the same price as others on the market to rent no more no less but nice village location.

I think if it's a nice house in a nice area it'll get let and if the area isn't so good it won't for a while

Basically it's a landlords market they can more or less charge what they want really - round here the minute a house is advertised it's almost gone I think estate agents have waiting lists full of people!!

I bought a house with only a bath , wasn’t any cheaper . Seen a few shower only which was more off - putting. Unlikely to be cheaper rent for bath only

No but I wouldn't rent one without a bath either

My housing association was a bath only. I grew up in a house with a bath only so was ok but after having a shower for 5 years it took a lot to get used to.
after a year they renovated my bathroom and added a shower- i wanted to celebrate 😂

Thank you all, good to know it won't put people off.

I wouldn't look at somewhere without a shower unless desperate. Ven a shower over the bath is fine. I can do without a bath but not a shower. I wouldn't expect the rent to be less though.
