Deposit paid, new kitchen is happening this summer!

I’m so excited while also stressed. It’s going to be so disruptive. Dc are going to my parents for week one and possibly a second depending on how chaotic it is. We’ve bought and put together a bbq this weekend. Now we just have to wait and I’m so impatient it feels like forever.

Where have you bought your kitchen from?

we’re just in the process of choosing ours now and worrying whether we can have our dream for our budget!

@EntreMummy we were all set to go with Howdens but the designer kept dragging his heals when we were trying to tweak things and not discussing options just what he thought. Anyway, he annoyed us so we got another quote from an independent supplier. Their quote wasn’t far off Howdens plus a fitter. It’s hard to fully calculate it as the independent shop project manages the whole thing so it includes electrics and plastering.

It’s about £3k more than Howdens but part of that is electrics and plastering plus Howdens cabinets were vinyl wrapped whereas independent is solid painted oak.

the only compromise is the Neff hide and slide pyro oven that hasn’t been in stock for 6 months. I’ve gone for a much cheaper option of 2 multi function hotpoint pyro cleaning ovens. They actually get great reviews so I’m happy with that.
