Suggest an app to track a build project

My DSis has an iPad but refuses to get Excel or Word. She has a building project about to begin and I’d like to suggest an app that would help her keep track of spend and list tasks. Anyone got any ideas?

Google Sheets - you just need a Gmail account, which is free. It's very similar to Excel but you don't need to to download anything, as it's all in the browser.
