'Chosen' Estate Agents would anybody really buy through them?!

I am noticing quite a few houses come on the market locally with this agent, one I would be interested in viewing until I noticed the BUYER has to pay their fees! A minimum of 2k no less....The houses arent any cheaper in price to reflect this. Has anybody bought through them? Seems like a crazy idea to me

How do they enforce that if you've not contracted them? Is it a case of 'if your offer is accepted then you're agreeing to pay our fees'?
