Costs to install wood flooring, any ideas?

Dreaming of installing herringbone floor downstairs. I think we need about 30m2 more or less. it's for two rectangular rooms connected by double doors. i can kind of work out an estimate of the cost of the flooring itself but just wondering what the labour costs for this type of job would be? I have no idea how long it would take, how many people required etc? Anyone have any idea? I am just at the dreaming stage at the moment so don't really want to go looking for professional quotes just yet...

This is our next project. Similar size, 2 rooms with double doors too. My husband favours lvt. But I think real wood looks much better. I will be following this thread with interest.

Recently had a quote for 35sq metres laminate at £600-650 labour only, but for real wood it would be more (especially for herringbone pattern!) not sure how much more…

I got quoted around £1500 for a slightly smaller space by a local flooring firm.

I’m paying £1,900 to have 65sqm of click laminate herringbone fitted

We recently paid £1500 to have 32 sq m of herringbone parquet fitted. It took 2 joiners 3 days to lay.

We've just paid £4500 to lay 95m2 of herringbone LVT. It took 3 guys 6 days, that also included supply and lay of 6mm chipboard. We paid £3000 for the LVT separately.

Recent quotes £30+ per sqm more if herringbone
