This forum is the source of 90% my property knowledge so I'm referring to you now again.
We are about to exchange & complete on a semi-detached house (FTB).
4 years ago, part of the house has been treated for dry rot developing along/near the party wall due to water ingress (problem from the house we are buying). All has been fixed but we don't know if the neighbours have been told (therefore surveyed their house and fixed if any issue).
Now Husband is worried that if they have dry rot developing they can blame it on us and make us pay as owner of the house.
Can someone let us know more? (obviously he found all these horror stories from the internet)
