Plumbing connections

Replacing our kitchen tap we were really pleased to have the old tap out new tap in just need to connect and then the problems.

Hot tap connected fine
cold tap then a problem. New tap has a female 1/2 inch connector.
Needs to connect to inlet which is a bare copper pipe. Also to connect the dishwasher which is also connected to a bare copper pipe but this can be removed to a normal dishwasher fixing but then would need the isolator for it. Added problem is that the dishwasher and cold inlet need to be at right angles to each other rather than straight on (just because of where the pipes are).

Does anyone have any ideas what connectors we need @pigletjohn
thanks

"a female 1/2 inch connector" sounds like it has a threaded socket. Is that right? If so the tap would usually be delivered with a brass or copper screw-on connector, probably with a rubber sealing ring.

please post some photos.

Thanks for answering @PigletJohn Photos hopefully attached. These three need attaching together and because two are on copper pipes it is tight so thing the two copper pipes need to be at right angles to each other. Hope that makes some sense.

Can you take a wider pic to show the layout? And describe what each is connected to?

One of them looks like a flexible tap connector like this

www.screwfix.com/p/flexible-tap-connector-15mm-x-x-300mm/6768g

The captive nut on one end screws onto the 1/2" BSP thread that some taps have on their stem. The other end has a 15mm compression joint that attaches to a 15mm copper pipe with an olive. They are also available with a ball valve at the 15mm end.

Note that a 1/2" BSP connector does not measure half an inch anywhere.

For the dishwasher you want an angled valve like

Note that this is a Pegler. It costs twice as much as a cheap one and is a hundred times better.

This is the T shaped one that enables you to run the copper pipe on beyond it
