Interesting curtains?

Any recommendations for interesting curtain fabric designers? Already looked at Dunelm and John Lewis but would like something more mid-century/60s/70s. Not Orla Kiely! No florals, am thinking more abstract designs, Scandi style etc.

Find a local independent fabric shop. These can range from high end (looking at fabric swatches in a book) or cheaper places stacked high with bolts of fabric. Ask for advice about the sort of fabric you need (will change how the curtains hang and how they look), fabric people are usually lovely

I make my own curtains and blinds, but if you can't sew, the fabric shop will usually be able to offer the service or recommend a seamstress.

It's not something I'd trust to the internet: too many slight changes in colour and you can't feel the weight or texture if the fabric.

Lucien Day? Glasgow school of art?

Try www.classictextiles.com/

You will need someone to make the curtains up, but that's the easy bit once you find the right fabric.

They have a great range at Jane Clayton, all made to measure. I got some lovely curtains from them last year.

Thanks everyone! Got a few shops locally so will go have a nosey. I can sew so would be able to make them myself if needs be.
