Removals - recent quotes?

Getting a quote this Friday. Moving to a three bed flat down the road from where we currently live.

Flat is first floor with stairs (duplex).

It is three years since we last moved and I wondered if prices have got up recently, along with everything else.

Would anyone be happy to share their quotes so I can brace myself please?

Thanks for sharing though - I think they have risen a fair bit in the last three years.

We're in the north west and are currently moving, got packed up today and our quote was £670 for basically moving stuff or an extra £200 for them to pack and dismantle. X

Midlands. Recently moved 3 bed into 2 bed about 2 miles and quotes ranged from £450 (bizarrely low online quote) to £1k. Did own packing. Went with a company who charged £780. Very professional and was very pleased.

@sarahc336 I have three new beds to be put together and just can't face doing it myself, so definitely requesting that service.

I am very minimalist so there isn't much to pack or lift - hoping we can get a quote for around £700 but we are SE so it may be a push.

@sarahc336 would you mind telling me who you used? We're in the NW and about to start getting quotes! Definitely need a packing service!
