Who do you follow on Instagram for interiors inspiration?

What's your style? I followed a couple of people because we were building an orangery and wanted inspiration which led to recommendations for others.

We have a 4 bed house to decorate, new kitchen, 2x bathrooms and a WC (SO exciting but v daunting). I'd like it to feel harmonious throughout. It's a v normal 30s semi. We don't have amazing architectural features to take inspiration from sadly and rooms are quite boxy so I'd like to soften them and have a modern, 'designed' look.

Mainly looking for ideas around paint, wallpaper, flooring & textiles rather than furniture as we'll be using what we already have, pretty much all wooden so easy to fit with most styles.

I like scandi but I also like colour & art too much to stomach a whole house of it. Plus there's a 3yo and a baby, this is their home and I want to embrace their stuff/mess rather than have it get in the way of minimalist decor. I'd love some ideas which bring kid friendly design into family spaces... things like a chalkboard wall (but maybe someone's had another idea since the 90s 😂)

There are lots of 1930s semis renovation accounts on Insta. If you search 1930 then go to 'tags' you've lots of hashtags to look through to find accounts that you like. The more you look at the more it helps you hone down your preferences and style.

There's nothing in your description above that makes me think of someone in particular but you may like @ goldisa_neutral although it's not strictly a design account and the gifting can get a bit much sometimes.
@ rossandian previous house was a 1930s renovation so check out their blog too.

My favourite interiors account is Rebecca Wakefield. Not sure this fits with chalkboard wall etc but might get some ideas for the house in general

Bobbins.at.home is a 1930s semi - pastel/scandi/arts and crafts type prints. Her mum has just moved in across the road from her and is renovating another 1930s semi.

Ellethehome_bird is a sort vintage with a hint of French bistro.

One of my favourites is Chris loves Julia. Not my style at all. But I love how they take apart a house and change it. It is an American based account though.
