New kitchen planning well under way & been driving myself nuts choosing appliances. All selected now, except for hob & hood.
I'll be having an 80cm or 90cm induction hob and, as the room is ~4.3m x 4m with 10ft ceilings, will be looking for matching size hood with a high extraction rate - a minimum of 500m3 & preferably more.
Subject to final confirmation, I think I'll be able to have a venting hood installed.
-
Will a venting hood be adversely affected by needing ~2.3m ducting, to the point where I might as well have a recirculation hood?
-
Can anyone recommend (or warn me to avoid) any specific hood that is the right size/power?

I'm not prepared to spend more than ~£2k on hob + hood or hob-with-hood at max, which is why I'm not looking at Bora.
I haven't actually shopped for a cooker hood since 1990 (!) so any advice welcomed.
