Hello, we are landlords of a London flat and have recently been approached by Capital Letters who match landlords with tenants paying with housing benefit (via the local council). Has anyone done this and I'd particularly like to hear from those who have used Capital Letters. I like what they do as it is difficult to rent a property and be looked on favourably by landlords if you are on housing benefit as you are perceived as higher risk. On the other hand I am worried that there is a higher risk that rent won't be paid or that tenants wouldn't be able to move out and on if we decided to sell ...as they find it tricky to find anywhere else - vicious circle. Any positive or negative experiences would be really useful to hear about.
