I am splitting with my partner and have to leave the rental home. It is owned by my in laws unfortunately. Ihave a proper tenancy agreement and have ended my half. The trouble is the landlady keeps turning up un announced to me but obviously known and approved by my DH to discuss tenancy matters.
I am due to leave next week and last night she came round at 9.30 and demand that she be here on the day the removal firm are in to pack and remove my belongings. DH will be at work but has obviously given his permission. I don't want her there, what are my rights?

Change the day and don't tell her?
She's not just your landlord. If the joint tenant wants his Mum round there's not much you can do.

Agree, change the day to the day before and don’t tell anyone. Once your partner has gone to work move as fast as you can so you are gone asap.

I expect she will probably drive by and see the removal van there. She is vile as if her Son hasn't caused me enough hurt
