Building contract

Hello. I am doing a large high value extension and I've received the JCT building contact, over 100 pages of it. Is it normal practice to get it checked by a solicitor? Thanks for any advice.

Have their been any alterations to it? If not I’d probably not bother getting someone to check it

Only if ther are any amendments to it. If it’s a standard JCT contract, don’t bother.
