Please reassure me my bank won't change their mind that I'm worthy of a mortgage after all

We are going to exchange this afternoon.

I am worried that my bank will decide they've made a massive mistake and that they don't want to lend to us after all.

We would lose our exchange deposit - our entire life's savings!

Please reassure me that this won't be the case / is exceptionally unlikely!

I hope so! This is the most stressful process I’ve been through in my life!

It will be fine - I had this worry to and found the time between exchange and completion tough!

They would have to uncover some big issue to pull the mortgage. Our mortgage offer was worded in such a way that is said it would be pretty extreme circumstances like fraud of some sort!

Try not to worry. It’s natural to think “well that could happen” but it’s very very very unlikely!
