laying LVT flooring

We have a medium sized utility room and are going to try and lay click LVT planks as it is very difficult to get trades people in to do small jobs where we are. I've been looking at different types online and there is quite a difference in price between the click or looselay ranges that Amtico and Karndean do and the cheaper ones that are sold by B&Q, Wickes, Costco and John Lewis. I like one of the John Lewis patterns but there are no online reviews. Does anyone have experience of the different brands? Is it worth paying the extra for Amtico/Karndean?

Karndean is worth the extra. Just had kitchen, hall and utility done with it and it looks superb. I would get it fitted by a pro though.

I have karndean in the hall, kitchen and dining room. Still not a scratch after a few years. The floor needs to be levelled using a latex screed so a professional is needed

We fell in love with the karndean herringbone flooring, however the price was way out of our budget so we shopped around and came across this online, we chose the white oak. Always have liked karndean, but just can't justify the costs 🙁

Purchase through John Lewis and I bet they have a service to fit also.

Quickstep has a large range.
we have the click planks in the bathroom and en-suite.

surprisingly heavy and being vinyl you have the water resistance.

In the end I bought vinyl click planks from Costco and fitted them myself. It wasn't as hard as I had expected, although there is one rough edge which is hidden by the fridge freezer and washing machine. Time will tell how long it lasts.
