Does anyone know why the reforms for existing leaseholders have stalled. We should have heard in the Queens Speech but nothing and it's gone quiet .
Ground Rents , Marriage Value etc etc is trapping millions of leaseholders in existing homes and will stall the housing market eventually.
I know most politicians and landowners have huge freehold interests but if the government is serious about levelling up they have to halt this hold third parties have over homes using them for nothing more than income streams .
