What is the correct way to seal holes where pipes go through bathroom floor tiles?

I mean like radiator pipes where expansion & contraction needs to be accommodated or the hot & cold feed for the bath? My dc are forever spilling bathwater and it spills behind the bath & seeps into the floor void & ceiling below at the point where the standpipes are fixed. Also, I think split water is dripping through where the bath waste goes through the tiled floor. What is the correct way of stopping this happening?

Silicone

There was a cool solution to this on dragons den recently, sort of custom tuning that prevents over siliconing everything

Is silicone the right material to use around hot radiator pipes?

Yeah it’s fine. You can get low odour silicone if you’re worried. You can get fire retardant silicone that is resistant up to 1,200 degrees if you are super worried. But honestly it will be fine, and it’s waterproof and it sticks to anything.

I got a silver collar that slips round the pipes.
