How do I keep black vinyl floors clean?

I wish I'd given more thought to the colour of my bathroom flooring because everything I'm now reading about black flooring is scaring me) : apparently it's very hard if not impossible to keep clean.. I'm also not keen on the vinyl I've chosen but unfortunately it's too late to go back) :

a good old fashioned bucket of hot water with flash floor cleaner and an old fashioned cotton mop
