White paint with good coverage

I’m still in the process of sprucing my house up to get it on the market.

The decor is desperately tired and long overdue a repaint so we’re just going to paint the living room, stairs and hallway white. It will be clean, bright and light and a good base for the new owner to do whatever they want.

I’m not really fussy on what white it is but I’d like one with decent coverage - ideally one coat but probably two. It’s going over a very light colour but I’d like the new paint to be white, not magnolia or cream.

Obvs would prefer cheap and cheerful but don’t mind paying more for a decent paint if it means fewer coats. I’m time poor as well as cash poor 😂😂

Any recommendations for a white paint that goes on well? I’ve been looking at reviews but they just contradict each other!! Thank you 😊

Screw fix bare plaster paint in white iirc 14.99 plus vat 10litres. Don’t go for the Leyland white paint got to be specifically bare plaster think it’s No nonsense brand, use it all the time a work

I’d been looking at the Leyland and Dulux stuff but the reviews were really mixed. This one looks amazing but I’d not seen it!! Perfect - thank you so much.

Dulux easy care washable and tough Matt emulsion was what we used, it was recommended by someone who has done quite a few jobs for me. Im really happy with how it came out, I used it throughout the whole house apart from the bathroom.

B and q do a valspar 10 litre one 2 for £22. Bare ceiling plaster takes 2 coats xx
