Renting temporarily

What do I do about address changes for a temporary stint in renting while my new build is completed? I am going to set up a Royal Mail forwarding, but I guess somethings need addresses actually changing. Will it look back with 3 different addresses in 6 months, say on my credit report? Thanks.

Did this a few months ago, moved into temp accm September and into the new house in Feb.

Essentially you have to inform EVERYONE, you could risk it and rely on the RM to divert everything and not bother until you are safely in the new address but I wouldn't as so many NEED to know of the address change (DVLA, doctor, DWP, employer, bank, insurance, private pensions, vet etc etc etc). I started my list many months before we moved and everytime I got a letter or email from a company or person not on the list I updated it.

With regards to the RM we set up a twelve month redirection to the temp accm (allowing for delays in the build) and then when we moved for the second time we cancelled the original redirection and set up two new ones.

Can't comment about credit report as I have never enquired about mine.

thank you! I was going to do the 12 month redirect, as I can see this magical November date suddenly darting away into 2023!

I was worried that it looks bad, lots of addresses, but I can explain it away. I am looking for reasons to worry, I guess. My car insurance is going to double at the new place…
