So after loads of looking around and quotes from builders, DH & I went ahead and ordered a mahoosive media unit covering the whole wall. The idea was to have it painted in a dark colour (think Basalt from little greene)and paired with brushed gold hardware. However after installation was finished, I have second thoughts, as white is not bad looking either. For context the said media unit has been installed in the living room, houses a big TV and the rest of the walls are currently white. Sofas and furnishings are in navy blue & gray. What would you do, would you go dark or keep it white? Anyone out there that has a similar unit that actually looks good?Thank you for helping me decide as I don't want to make an expensive mistake!
