I know this is a how long is a piece of string question but…
I want to buy a buy-to-let one-bed flat in a street where I already own another. So I know what I can let it for if it’s refurbished to a certain standard. This means new IKEA type kitchen (v v small L shape with three units each side), bathroom, redecoration and carpet in one room. Plus IKEA furniture.
I think I can do this for £20K. DH doesn’t.
Assuming the survey brings no nasty surprises, who is right? We wouldn’t be doing any of the work ourselves.
