Just that really. Got a bathroom cabinet delivered from Germany that we had to completely assembled and now puzzled on what type of fittings to use to attach the metal hole/brackets to a brick wall. A hook or special screw? Is there a name that I can Google?

Also, what do you use to make holes to insert the screws if a part has no pre drilled holes, would you use a power drill or a screwdriver? Thanks

You tube
definatly use rawl plugs as well as the right size screws

I’ve you tubed it and didn’t find anything helpful unfortunately. The hole looks large for a screw?

I was thinking whether I need to use a hanger or something? But then I’m clueless when it comes to stuff like this. Would be much simpler there was just standard size hole in the cabinet which you then screw into the wall.

What size is the hole?

Creamegg18 · 25/05/2022 07:41

It’s the metal hole as per my photo. Thanks

To get through the tile you will need a tile drill. Don't use a normal drill on hammer setting you will crack the tile.

There doesn't seem to be anything in the photo to show scale. What size is the hole?

There should be another piece you screw the screw through.

As per another poster, there should be another bit with a keyhole shape in it.

FFS. This new "improved" site is rubbish. Rotate the picture 90° Clockwise

Sorry I posted too soon. They are the same as IKEA Pax wardrobe fixings. If you Google I'm sure you'll find instructions on how to use. I hope they also supplied the extra pieces you need!

Thanks. I’ll take another look to see if there are any parts otherwise I’ll look into the fixings from B&Q that the person above mentioned which is helpful.

The cabinet didn’t come with any pre drilled holes, my husband just used a screwdriver to make a hole and I said to use a power drill? Does anyone know the correct method please?

Its so annoying as the item is shipped from Germany and their furniture needs to be fully assemble yourself, instructions are just pictures and then one needs to pre drill holes for hinges etc. IKEA is so much easier to follow.

Thank you
