I've seen a 1940s semi come on the market (in an area where 1970s and new builds fill the market). Ever since I was little, I've always wanted a house with bay windows and this does. I never expected to get one in this area.
Its something of a doer upper but I think it has potential. Please, inspire me with your pics of your 1940s houses.
Or will it just be a money pit??

Ours is a 1945 semi and when we bought it was a doer up we have spent around £10000 on new kitchen with rewire new pcp board, plastering etc , redecorating, patio installed in the back garden, carpets right through, luckily didnt need bathroom doing, rewiring one thing if you view is check where the plug sockets are as ours were in the skirting boards so needed uplifting to the wall , we are in Yorkshire so dont know if location is cheaper than where you are but its a good solid house with york stone outside
