Knotweed is a vicious bastard that grows at 100mph. I know because I've seen it grow in my friends garden. It even pushes up through the neighbour's concrete.

God, you couldn't pay me to live in that house. It's hideous. (Apart from the amazing setting).

It's a devil to get rid of as well, I know they say it is being treated but from what I hear about it treatment will be long term and expensive. Other concerns would be the dispute with the contractor re the swimming pool and the fact it is not working now so presumably is drained of water and it seems the heat pump for heating the house doesn't work either and neither of those will be cheap or easy to put right.

Quirky though the mill wheel is, it would seriously annoy me that it takes up so much space, doesn't look particularly great and serves no purpose.

I believe they legally have to declare the Japanese Knotweed... But all the rest is so overkill and off-putting to read! We don't need to know they had a dispute with the pool man, or that it floods all the time 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

I love the house. Absolutely love it. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole mind you because it's a money pit! And has a railway line directly above it.

I'm not sure about it but the back of the sofa in photo 17 looks like a sausage.

I love the inside, it has a holiday home feel about it. The outside looked a bit creepy to me.

Flooding, no heating, and Japanese knotweed… no amount of original features make up for that.

I love it! Really really love it. I also love the sound of trains, hardly ever put my heating on (although maybe less necessary in a mid terrace) and get puddles in the kitchen in heavy rain.
