Non-wood decking recommendation please

We've inherited a wooden decked area in our garden. The steps are bowing badly, and the main area has damaged planks. I'm also worried about the various pots on the decking (though they're all on legs).

Is there a material that looks wooden/natural but is moisture-resistant and low maintenance? Like the external version of Karndean? Please share your recommendations (and photos, if you feel ok to share those)!

The whole point we chose ecodek was cos of the sustainability credentials plus it is made in the UK (and we preferred the colour, shallow).

Rats would like any cavity space, I'm weighing up a sandstone patio vs trex.

@hydrama just saw you tagged me - not sure of brand, but I'm in Ireland so it might not be available to anyway assuming you're in the UK. Ours is grey and very nice Smile

As for rats, our decking is ground level and the sides are sealed. Totally impossible for even the most determined rodent to access.

Many of the composite boards claim to be a mix of recycled sawdust and recycled plastic, which if true floats my boat.

They dig tunnels.
