Changing colour of double glazing?

Our house has horrid dark oak double glazing.
I've heard you can get it sprayed white. Has anyone done this? Did it work? Can they do the inside as well?

I’ve heard it can be painted but I’m nervous about it. Mine’s the same, but still in good condition, so I’d like to change the colour. It’s very dated.

Me too! It's only about 8 years old and in good condition. It's just a bit of a leap of faith!

Before you do anything, check that there isn’t some local planning rule regarding having to have wood or wood effect surrounds to your windows. There is always someone willing to grass you up when you unwittingly break such rules.

Mine definitely doesn’t have that. Every other house in the street has white upvc. Mine’s brown upvc.
