For years, (literally), whenever I've come across an interesting thread on house stuff, there you are, tagged and willingly giving free advice, looking at photos, sorting out issues.

I occasionally think as I am looking at my own house,
" I'm a bit concerned/puzzled about x," but then I tell myself
"oh well, even if x happens, I can always try tagging PigletJohn" hahah.

I think this is the case. I have also benefitted from.his amazing advice, but I remember a few years ago there was a thread a bit like this and it got a bit OTT to the point of embarrassment.

PigletJohn is indeed awesome but when he next looks at his emails he'll be wondering why he’s suddenly got dozens of notifications

(I've always automatically assumed he’s a male piglet, possibly v sexist of me tho )

I agree, so helpful. I always picture PJ as an actual but human size piglet wearing denim dungarees and a baseball cap, so more likely male.

I think he appeared on a thread once where people wanted to ban male posters and he popped up. He is a legend and willingly helps so many posters.

I totally agree. Thank you! I know that when I see your advice on a thread I can trust it. DH was wrestling with a tap the other day and asked me if the "Piglet person" would know how to fix it

OP here, slightly regretting I didn't think to put this into AIBU ("to say @pigletJohn is a legend") -- so much more traffic there but so nice to hear from everyone here! Also, I am pretty sure I read something a year or so again where PJ said he was a he.

MNHQ I know it is not a normal thing but can we / you give a round of applause / email directly to @PigletJohn just so how knows how much he is apricated.
