We brought a former farmhouse, the driveway, past the front of the house to the garages is a real mess. It has bits of concrete, tarmac, pot holes etc, so needs completely digging out before we can re-lay anything. So that alone is going to cost a fortune.
Then what to use? As we are in the country, I dont want anything too perfect (iyswim) and it needs to be permeable, so not block paving, tarmac, concrete. Or at least not the entire drive. The resin gravel is lovely, but I have had an estimate of £20k so thats not happening. The obvious choice is loose gravel, but looking for other ideas.
