Live in a ground floor flat and not looking to move any time soon to see what happens with house prices.
We have a beautiful and large shared garden but we have to access it via going out to the communal area, out a main front door and then a path to the side. Not a huge issue really but I've been told in another block in the development the freeholder approved for a patio door to be installed! This would mean we could access the garden directly from our kitchen/ living room.
I think that having a patio door would massively contribute to our use of the garden and would mean we could stay for a bit longer here. It would also make the living room lighter and brighter.
Has anyone done this and what was the cost? (Also could you tell some the year you had this done as obv if it's 20 years ago the prices will have changed).
