Cost of new radiator installation

My radiators are looking a bit dated and the pipe work scruffy and no doubt really old and incompatible with new radiators. Im thinking of replacing the lot. Has anyone had this job done recently, and if so what did it cost? 2 bedroom terrace, 6 radiators in total.

We had 6 new radiators fitted last December but didn't change out all the pipe work and it was £900 for all parts and fitting.

I'm looking to do this too, I've heard if you search FB marketplace and eBay there are some radiator bargains to be had, then you just need to pay for installation

I would never install radiators a customer had bought from marketplace.
When you install new, the rads are guaranteed. Any plumber risks their reputation from customers who could leave a negative review if a crappy radiator with an unseen fault fails.

Ooh thanks loads! Very useful. I’ll get some quotes in.

We had 8 big radiators replaced a few months ago and it cost us £1200 all in.

Forgot to add, it made a huge difference to how warm the house was. We had to turn the heating down and on for much less time. Our old radiators were about 40 years old.

ohh fab. Mine are a similar age, I’m sure they’re full of sludge .

We’ve just paid £2745 for 4 radiators and replacing all pipework upstairs (microbore to standard)

Took two days and they had to lift carpet/floorboards in every room.

Downstairs we plan to have underfloor heating throughout, but won’t get it fitted just yet. Cash flow issues.
