No hot water at all

@pigletjohn just on the off chance you are around, may I ask you a question. Should the little red light between the green reset and blue test button always be on? This is for an Aqualisa Quartz Valve pump.

I currently have no water at all coming out of my hot taps.

Thank you so much if you do see this.

OP it says 'black off, red on' underneath the light, which is pretty self explanatory! Have you tried hitting the Reset button? That would the first thing I'd try.

I agree, push the reset button and see if the light comes on, it might also be you need a new fuse in the plug

Sharpkat · 15/05/2022 17:02

Yep I have pressed Reset several times and nothing has happened. I have also pressed Test and still nothing.

Could try the fuse I guess.

Change the fuse and check your fusebox. Is it the shower, have you had any electricity cutouts recently.

Sharpkat · 15/05/2022 17:21

Have checked the fuse box and that is fine. Don't have the right screwdriver to change the fuse and would not be confident (I know). Will have to wait until the landlord comes out at 2.30pm tomorrow.

I really need a shower and want to cry.

Thank you all for responding.

Is there anyone else who can change the fuse for you, you dont want to be without hot water other wise its a bowl wash

Sharpkat · 15/05/2022 17:39

No one else I know locally. I don't want to mess with things and then have my landlord hold me liable.

Will have a flannel wash in the morning. Have cleaned my hands and face and put on clean clothes.

Thanks to everyone for their advice last night.

It turned out that the water tank in the loft was completely empty. It needed a new valve. All fixed very quickly.

Thats a great update, I hope you enjoy a nice long shower.

PigletJohn · 16/05/2022 20:03

hi, glad to hear it's solved. I didn't see an alert.

@PigletJohn ought to work

(I did it just then and it formatted the name for me)
