Snaglist - Skirtng

We will soon be moving into a new build property (I know in some parts they are notorious for being poor quality at times, but isn’t the case where I live). However, I was wondering if this wouldn’t be right to add to a snaglist so if anyone knows or knows someone professional who can advise that would be greatly appreciated!

For some reason they added the skirting to the walls before laying down the laminate wooden flooring. They have now added the flooring but we can see they’ve added some beading to I assume neaten any gaps. I know this isn’t best practice, and tbh it looks really poor as it means there’s a gap now of probably at least an inch between the wall and where we could place furniture on the floor as the skirting moulding is already bulky enough.

Aware this isn’t a major issue but it just doesn’t look great - is it something that would be silly to raise with the builder? It goes against all best practices and everything else in the house at this stage appears to be ok.
