House slight sloping? Problem?

Hi!

My wife and I viewed a house today (a single open day: 33 viewings - so a lot of competition!)...

It's a mid-terrace house on a gentle hill. I did notice a tiny bit of sloping on one side of the house, which seemed to match the road's incline. I've attached a picture of the kitchen, onto which I've used photoshop to add lines comparing the wall in the middle of the room with the fridge cabinet and the wall on the right. I then copied the lines and put them next to each other on the left. They are noticeably not parallel with each other and progressively more angled clockwise from left to right (5.5 degrees according to photoshop)... but is this OTT of me? Is this actually quite typical? I did not notice any cracking or other serious signs of structural damage/strain in the house.

I've also attached a picture of the house from the back garden, showing that the decking also has a slope in the direction of the road incline.

Can anyone provide some insight/advice for us please?

Thanks,

J

Is it the garden that slopes? The steps compensate? The large window looks level. I’m assuming it doesn’t slope inside!

My house has very irregular walls (1820s house made of stone). Normal for older properties and not an issue unless there are structural problems.
