We are having an extension built with a roof lantern. In the beginning the builder first asked for a deposit of £2000 for the maker of the roof lantern as he would not start making it without it. Now the builder is asking for another £1000 and stated we would be paying for it as he only quoted supply and fit lantern. Doesnt supply and fit imply he would be paying for in the quote? What do they people think.
