My DH and I are in our 70's and would love to downsize. We have a 5 bed house, full of crap. Would love someone to move us, and do all the work. What do you think it would cost?

Do you mean the packing and moving? If so that’s not hideously expensive. The hard part is decluttering before they come to pack.

We had our stuff packed and moved. We unpacked slowly ourselves.

Declutter slowly too. A drawer or two for half an hour per day.

Thank you for your responses.

It might be worth paying a professional organiser to come in and guide you how to reduce and declutter?

I've used a professional declutter several times ( I have a health thing, also time is precious!) Was £30/ hour and 2-3 hour blocks - we got such an enormous amount done! So therapeutic. V sensitive and it all felt like my decisions entirely. Worth every penny.
